# About Layton
Meet Layton, an incredible 12-year-old who has had a passion for books and drawing since he was a little kid. Despite facing his own struggles with self-doubt and confidence, Layton found inspiration to create a series of books that would help other young boys and girls overcome the limiting beliefs they encountered while growing up.
At just 7 years old, Layton conceived the amazing world of Overblast™. He would spend hours immersed in his own imagination, bringing to life characters and scenes through his artwork.
Through his character Marcus Mosiah™, Layton shares his personal journey of overcoming shyness and self-doubt, ultimately discovering his own confidence and becoming an engaging superhero.
Layton is not just a creative genius, but also a remarkable individual with a vision to inspire and continue his artistic growth. Join him on this incredible journey of empowerment and creativity.

Arc: Going from wanting to be a superhero (ego desire), to being oneself (spiritual desire) and discovering that that self is inherently super.
Themes: The courage to be one’s authentic self is the greatest superpower. Learning about our destiny by listening to inner urges- ego desire isn’t necessarily bad, it is a clue into what we were born to do. Exploring the differences between superficial power & authentic power. Connection with nature unlocks connection with ourselves because we are not separate from it, we are as much a part of nature as an oak tree.
